As your insurance broker, NIC Brokers Pty Ltd acts as a financial service provider (sometimes called an intermediary), helping you navigate policies and products. Underwriting managers are appointed by insurers to manage specific insurance products, and some duties may be outsourced to authorised brokers.

Product suppliers may be insurers or underwriting managers, some of which are partially owned by insurers. Distribution channels provide additional support and services in delivering our financial services to you.

NIC Brokers Pty Ltd operates under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS), ensuring high standards of service and protection for clients. This legislation governs the stability, integrity, and qualifications of service providers, the quality and format of advice, complaint handling, and penalties for non-compliance.

Our Compliance Officer ensures adherence to these regulations, while the Policy Holder Protection Rules and independent Ombudsmen (Short Term Insurance and FAIS) provide additional client protection.

We are licensed to offer financial advisory and intermediary services for personal and commercial short-term insurance.

NIC Brokers Pty Ltd is also a member of the Insurance Brokers Council and the South African Financial Services and International Association.
